Joel Labovitz Entrepreneurial Success Awards nominees announced

LaboAwardThe UMD Center for Economic Development (CED) has announced the nominees for the 21st annual Joel Labovitz Entrepreneurial Success Awards Program, which recognizes entrepreneurs and business owners from throughout the Twin Ports and Northeastern Minnesota. The ceremony is part of the region’s celebration of the US Small Business Administration (SBA) National Small Business Week.

The award categories include Micro Entrepreneur, Emerging Entrepreneur, Established Entrepreneur, Mature Entrepreneur and E-3 Environmentally Engaged Entrepreneur. Thirty entrepreneurial businesses have been nominated for these awards.

The recipients will be announced at the 21st annual luncheon held on Wednesday, April 24, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the DECC. Check-in and networking begin at 11 am.
