LOTDPosterWilliam Shakespeare’s Land of the Dead, the best-attended show of the 2008 Minnesota Fringe Festival, makes its northland debut March 21-23, 28-30 and April 4-6 at Teatro Zuccone in Downtown Duluth. All performances begin at 8 p.m.

“As much as we love moving our audiences, making them feel and think and have long, serious discussions for hours after our productions end, we also love to entertain them. And there are few things more entertaining than this script and this show,” Artistic Director Katy Helbacka said in a press release. “It’s the bard battling zombies. Really, that’s all I probably need to say.

“Plus, we’ve assembled a dynamite team to help bring the show to life. We’ve been perfecting our blood and gore effects for years now on shows like The Lieutenant of Inishmore, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, and Bug and we’re pulling out all the stops for this show.”
