Minnesota high school football teams will begin preseason workouts Monday, and, as always, a few local teams are poised to make a run in 2013.

Duluth Denfeld, Duluth East, Proctor and Hermantown will be teams to watch this fall, and Duluth Marshall, Cloquet, Esko and Two Harbors look to be competitive. Esko’s new synthetic turf field will be ready for the start of this season.

All teams will open the season between Aug. 29-31.
